Program Overview

Designed to prepare young children for the transition to kindergarten.- strengthen your preschool child’s Kindergarten readiness— foundation skills + SEL (Parent participation required.)
Focus on developing essential skills like:

Socialization and Emotional regulation
Basic academics (alphabet recognition, counting, shapes)

Build confidence, independence, and a strong foundation for future academic success
Help identify potential developmental delays or needs for early intervention

What to Expect in our Kindergarten Readiness Program:

Academics

Phonics /reading

Activities like:

Storytime
Arts and crafts
Music and movement

Learning to:

Follow routines
Take turns
Cooperate with peers

Parent-teacher communication to support learning at home

Developing a love for learning, making new friends, and entering kindergarten feeling prepared and excited!

Program Details

Small group sessions
Instructional sessions in math, reading, and critical thinking
Recommended at-home activities to reinforce skills learned
Parent/caregiver participation and attendance are required. Parents must remain in classroom proximity.

Schedule and Location

The program is four - 2 hour group sessions.

Fridays 7/11, 7/18, 7/25, and 8/1

Time: 10am-12pm

Location: Shoesmith Elementary - 1330 East 50th St.Chicago

Terms and Refund Policy

Refund requests made 15 days prior to the course or session start date will incur a $150 administrative fee.
No refunds once the selected program(s) have started. No exceptions..

Session transfer may result in additional fees
We reserve the right to cancel a session date if participation numbers are not adequate
Results may vary, and placement into selective schools for gifted programs is not guaranteed.
