Get a kickstart for the high school learning experience with our summer program.

Whether your child is a rising 7th/8th grader headed to a selective enrollment academic center or an 9th grader transitioning to a high school IB Program, they're on the cusp of an exciting new chapter. This is a time to explore new interests, form lasting friendships, and build a strong foundation for future success.

Our summer program is designed to prepare students for the social challenges and academic expectations ahead and get them off to a great start!

In this program, we'll focus on key skills and topics that will benefit your student.

• Academic Demands: Preparing students for increased academic rigor, independence, and time management skills to handle heavier coursework and homework loads. Including Algebra Skills Refresher, Writing Workshop, and Cornell Note-Taking,
  
• Emotional Resilience: Fostering emotional intelligence to manage stress, build resilience, and develop coping strategies for navigating social and academic challenges. Including Executive Function (time and material organization), and Critical Thinking Skills
  
• Social Adjustment: We'll provide strategies for maintaining old friendships, and navigating new relationships - including how to engage with peers and teachers, and adapt to the high school social environment.
  
• Support Systems: Establishing mentorship programs, peer support groups, or counseling services to help students navigate the transition and provide guidance when needed.
  

By the end of our program, your child will be well-prepared to transition to their new school with confidence and be ready to the most of their first year in high school.

TERMS and CONDITIONS:

All parents must sign and return the media release/hold harmless form before their child can participate in the program. Some sessions may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

Student should stick to assigned session block as session transfer will result in additional fees.

REFUNDS/MAKEUPS POLICY

Refund (less $200 registration fee) up to 14 days before program start date. No refunds after June 10th, 2025.

Please note that sessions cannot be transferred to someone else or carried over to a later time. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed, and there is an additional fee for any sessions you miss and want to make up. We do not provide refunds or prorated fees for absences, illness, vacation, tardiness, or cancellations caused by bad weather, road closures, COVID-related closures, or any other circumstances beyond control.

We reserve the right to cancel a session date if participation numbers are not adequate.
